Helloi completely changed my kit and bought the very expensive phaserunner hoping for quality.

But it stops when it rains... Again!

It does 1 or 2 acceleration then it cuts. I need to restart it. I had to do that every 30s on my journey.

Any idea what's wrong?

How do you make a waterproof, completely potted controller stop in the rain?

1. It works OK when it is not raining?

2. How have you programmed it? (Amps? Volts?)

I don't know why it stops :(

I've got most default settings. Max 63v and 80A phase amp max. Battery amp probably 30A?

Disconnect the throttle ride a few commute sin the rain.
For a throttle you need the Wuxing 108x.

That's the throttle I have but no luck... I'll try changing it and move the controller up on the bike

Sorry to hijack a little.....but having used for a while I do totally agree. Lasted way longer than any other I've had in the rainy commutes already

I do find it a touch easy to hit by accident though. My current daily bike has a wide two way style. I like it but guess it won't last too long

Still digressing from the main topic I have only encountered two throttle faults;
1. Broken wire causing an intermittent issue.
2. Moisture in a julet connector.
Otherwise throttles themselves have never given me an issue.

It's the same with LCDs, but some of these guys use their bikes every day whether heavy rain or not. I don't know how the water gets in, but it does.

The metal return spring thing tends to rust for me

Yep, that's me, even once ruined a led panel with water ingress. Though on that occasion it was standing rather than riding

I have a hotel shower cap in my bag for my shiny new colour LCD but, even today , can't bring myself to actually use it !

I think most problems arise leaving bikes out in the standing rain for hours on end.
My Norco 700c is my all year round town/errand and commute used in all weather, may be I'm lucky so far no major component issues.
We know from the past that Cwah leaves his bike/s in standing rain (no where indoors or at work)lashed up to anything that he can lock it too, even recall he left a 48v dolphin on his bike to fill up with water.
Ebikes aren't totally waterproof and do need protection from rain more so when left to the elements.

It's not that bad. But it has issue few minutes after riding on the rain.

It can be either the throttle, the controller connectors, the controller itself or the motor wires....

I would start with throttle and pas connectors and look for green tracking on or between pins if they are copper.

I repeat: That controller is completely potted, how can water get in?
