Not by that particular exploit, but by a simple script that regularly hit my Predictor page, a few thousand times an hour. That uses my free google developer's credits for their map and geolocation services.
At the same time, they bombarded my email with offers to protect my website with stuff like 'Is your website under attack?' - Offers started with a few quid a month.
I added a bit of code to block that script. The guy (or girl) modified their script a couple of times, each time, I modified my code to deal with the changes. They gave up at the end.
That was a couple of months ago. Anyway, I have to look into better protection for the long term.
I am looking also into how to protect my SIM against hacking/swapping etc. Recently, a guy got his SIM hacked, he lost £200k in 15 minutes and his bank settled out of court for 19k.
Apparently, hackers send you an SMS to offer some cheap services. When you get hooked, they send a normal looking butspecially coded PDF which triggers your phone's special internal browser to fetch a malware from their server. They can then duplicate your SIM and intercept all your SMS.
