Clear plastic wrap

Can anyone recommend any clear waterproof plastic type material for protecting your LCD?

Ive gone through all sorts of things, which have worked to a degree, but would like to find something more permanent than cling film, sandwich bags, clear rubber gloves etc

Maybe Im over cautious then, but would rather cover it than have it pock up on me.

I must admit to covering it in the begining but soon got fed up and don't bother any more

I started to cover mine as during one really wet weather ride, it started to steam up inside.

I used to cut a section off any clear thin plastic bag that are generally used for packaging and hold it on stretched tight with some elastic bands as you can just about see in my avatar pic.

Also good for covering cycle lights, as everyone can see you cumming!

It's possible it's designed to have a little drainage. When I'm doing outdoor events it's actually condensation in sealed units that causes more grief than stuff that is allowed to drain. Your sandwich bag solution might be making it worse.
Stick the unit in a bag of dry rice for a few days. Don't force heat.
