It is a personal choice, you need to consider what sort of terrain you will be riding on, if you need full shock absorbers on the route you take. If you have any medical conditions that require special modifications.
For instance, I had a mad moslem woman belt into me while I was stopped at traffic lights. She couldn't find the brake but managed to jam the throttle on and hit me again after she bounced off me the first time. She was texting with 2 children in the car. The lumbar support in my seat damaged my coccyx so I can only ride for short periods now. Choose your donor bike carefully, the main thing is the size and clearance of the bottom bracket.
