Chinese crank drives,throttles and gears.

I think the potential problem would be when the rider does not know how to adjust his/her gear cable.
If the chain jumps repeatedly off the derailleur cogs or the freewheel, the derailleur and freewheel will soon be wrecked, or the hub gearbox will break. Question is...is this a warranty issue?

I thin it is an important part of the instructions for a crank drive bike with a throttle to make it clear that the rider must ease off the throttle and ease back on the pedalling pressure and speed when changing gear - changing gear under full throttle power is likely to cause damage to the gears and chain. The higher spec shimano derailleurs can handle it better but with a budget system like tourney or alivio it will break things changing gear under full power
