Cheapest viable conversion? (not including battery)

The 250w Voilamarts are geared hubs and quite weedy having only a 15nm torque rating.
No lcd option available so could be hard finding a suitable one that will work unless it is a Luishi or KT.
With no lcd/led, pas will be only one speed so no control over power use unless the throttle is a graduated control one.

Don't find mine at all weedy and I think the throttle is graduated however the Pedelec function isn't the best. I would look at LCD models next time.

Depends on the terrain you ride on, try it up a 10% + steep hill.

If I was going to do that I'd go back to a motorbike. 250W won't ever be much help up a 10% slope.
