Cheap Comfortable Saddle

I got one of these from Aliexpress because it looked right for what I need. It fits me perfectly. There's no sliding forwards or backwards and nice even pressure spread out over my backside, like it was custom made for me. It's made of soft rubbery stuff, so it compresses a bit to even out the pressure. It's worth every penny of the £10 it cost.

It's that bit in the middle that's been getting me on my Brooks saddle. Obviously, that can't happen with this one.

It is very comfortable and good for gentle leisure rides.

One of the most important factors is, is your saddle waterproof ?
Not fun getting onto a bike and ending up with a wet posterior

Next point is are you skinny, or carrying a bit of excess blubber ?, as they come in different widths. And its the bones you sit on, not the fat/muscle surrounding them

Narrow, firm saddles are more comfy than great big padded ones because they are more supporting.
But if 'Wide Load' is a sticker that would look good on the back of your bike, then buy the large padded one, but just make sure it is quite firm.

Bobbo 1260, this is the most comfortable one I have found, after trying quite few before, and has been on for a couple of years and still good as new, and have just bought another for another bike I am building, does not impede with pedaling and when want to just sit back and take it easy, just move back a bit to get comfortable. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252233857278

Thanks for the links. Both wide saddles look nice and wide. What complicates matters is that the support that runs across the rear springs has to be arched as the seat post on the bike has a lever that is lifted upwards to tilt the seat forward so the battery can be removed.
The solution might be to get a new wide seat for the trike and adapt the seat on the trike so it will work with the tilt lever on the bike as on the existing seat, as the sprung frame can be separated from the seat and its padding.
I bought the seat from motorcycle jumble so the chance of getting an identical one is unlikely.
