Charging On The Move

Hello Everyone,

I have a Motorhome and am leaving soon for a 3 week tour of Austria and Italy. We have a Pro Connect and Agattu. My query is - Is it ok to charge by using an inverter whilst on the move? Also, if I stop/start a few times before batteries are fully charged - is it harmful?
We will be making use of mains hook ups whenever possible but can see a time when this might not be available.

Hi Rob,

I find that a decent mobile power pack which can be plugged into your 12v socket to charge itself whilst on the move is good for then using to charge your bike batteries.
I dont think its harmful to stop/ start but I'm no expert, someone will be along soon I'm sure to give you more advice.

We are going down to Austria on the 10th September and then over to Mandello on Lake Como for the Moto Guzzi 90th Anniversary on the 16th September.

We're off on the 5th Sept. for 3 weeks. We are heading for Salzburg and then onto Venice, hopefully we might get some sunshine!

It is Fine to use an inverter your charger Is small so wont use that much


And your battery is being charged as you are going along just get the right size inverter when you can use the Mains hookup over night

My last one finally died a death but I am looking into replacing it with possibly a,freeplay freecharger weza , I think it is.....on amazon, the unique thing is you can charge it by foot as well as through the normal means which I thought would then have all angles covered.
