Dear all,

I have the lifepo4 charger from BMSbattery

Charging voltage 42.6v
Charging current 2A

Can I use this charger for 36v 10ah NiCoMn battery?

Yes.

Even if it was the wrong voltage, they're adjustable (assuming the aluminium case one).

Thanks. Dave. It is the aluminium one.

How can I adjust the voltage? what voltage should I change it to?

Thanks

I'd say the voltage is fine as it is, 41 volts being the usual charging voltage for a 36/37 volt compound cathode battery like yours. The fraction of voltage over won't matter.

You don't need to adjust it. 42.6v is OK. NiCoMn chargers can be anything from 41v to 43v. I guess the ideal level depends on how the BMS does its balancing. If it were set too low, it could be that the balancing doesn't work properly. The BMS will switch it off if it's too high. LiFePO4 chargers can be much higher. I've seen them up to 45v.

The adjuster is a little blue rectangular adjustable potentiometer in the corner. You'll see a little screw-head in the top. You can use that to convert it to a 24v or 48v charger or even higher. You have to turn the screw a lot of rotations to adjust it that far.
