Carrera suntour error 00

Hi, I wonder if there's anyone who can help me fix my Carrera bike.its a suntour I brought it from Halfords 2 years ago and it's saying error 00

The error code means that your control panel can't communicate with the motor controller. There can be all sorts of reasons for it. Think back to what happened when it started if you want a cause.

Think about any small event no matter how trivial.
Don't dismiss anything .
Fallen off bike or bike fallen over ?
Riding in the rain or washing the bike ?

Welcome .

Once the guys have given advise if we can not sort out the problem on here then pop round to mine one day this week and if it’s a faulty part we can swap out a few things if needs be .

One problem I do not have any LCD screens in stock but we can test it independently to see if it’s working .

I suspect a loose connection if you have nor]t damaged the bike or left it in a damp place .

Your bike has the BB Suntours crank sensor which I assume is a good thing as the other type on the side of the Crank are problematic and seem to be a bad design .

So as message on e bay pop round one day this week DIY is free with some help as a new member.

Parts are cheaper than Halfords or e bay as a member .

If you want me to do all the work then sort out a price when we meet .
