I’m considering replacing the controller and sensor on my subway to a Pedel assist and throttle rather than a torque sensor, so I have Just been nosing around the wring and found it has 2 unused wires. See pictures
I am wondering what these are for
Any one git any ideas,?
Maybe Lights, throttle or what

The wires that go I to the blocks seems odd to me but I've never played with one so no idea. Hopefully VFR or Nealh or someone equally knowledgeable will know (they will!) seems like black and red thin and one thick red.

I'm going to hazard a guess on the 4 wire connector as a controller programming link up?

It wont be a throttle I'd have thought (that would be three wires )

I've not seen any of those wires on one before. Is that the new version? When did you buy it?

I'd say that the 4 wire connector is a for programming.

That one has a new control system, which is different to the one we know. I think those blocks are just blanking pieces to terminate wires that are probably meant for lights or something like that.

Thanks everyone just been curious, the main reason I was looking was to see it there is enough room there to fit a new controller, which I think there is just about, but it will be tight due to all of the wires

You don't need to fit your controller there. You can stick it in one of those toolbags under the saddle. That's where I fit them.
