Oity it is not the Subway 8 - which they stopped doing - that was a really good bike for the money. Mine is still going strong even though it is now a back up bike since I got the Rose Xtra Watt 500
These retail stores are very naughty for doing these long-running discount advertised offers with manipulated pricing..often quoting higher original prices they never even sold out, or for very long anyway..(especially supermarkets), there's been some action taken by the government to try and prevent this practice which is misleading the public into thinking they're getting a good bargain.. they've decided to adopt a self-regulatory approach I think rather than introduce legislation. Furniture stores are another culprit, the likes of DFS and their "this weekend only" offers.

I just missed out on one of those with a lovely Nexus 8 hub when they were reduced to £325 last Christmas!
Probably a good thing as I have too many bikes already and I prefer smaller wheeled bikes anyway. Will be posting some pics of my new Xootr conversion soon and a new DIY <2kg, 6Ah battery I have built that fits in the back pocket of the Brompton C Bag.
