carrera electric bike now selling in halfords

Well it was a shock to see a brand new electric bike for sell in halfords and i nearly missed it at first glance to a untrained eye like mine it looked very neat compact even they didnt have the specs yet but it didnt fill heavy there was a large motor in the back wheel and the battery was under the seat it was quite small dont think it would have a LONG DISTANCE the wheel size looked 26 ins but over all it looked a nice bike the guys working in the shop had all tryed it and said the speed was 20mph. What great news we have even more choice to choose from and its on my door step NIGEL

Nothing on their Halfords web site about it Nigel, so may be a trial run in selected branches to see how it goes.

I was in local Halfords the other day (its not somewhere I usually frequent mind you) and I saw the bike in question. It appears to be the SPARC system - I couldn't get to examine it much further as I had a stroppy 4 year old with me.
