This is a common and well-known fault.

One cause is when the LCD panel breaks contact because its holder doesn't hold it tight enough. You can solve that with a bit of thin plastic or some tape down the side/s of the panel to wedge it in tighter.

The next cause is when the battery terminals break contact when you go over a bump. You can solve that with a Velcro strap around the battery and frame to hold it in tightly.

The third cause is the motor connector on the chain stay, which is vulnerable to being kicked as you pedal. You can tape it out of the way to prevent that.

Finally, the battery self-diagnostics shut it down for no reason. There's nothing you can do about that except take it back tpo Halfords and demand that they fix it. Some are better than others.

Hi thanks for the reply I think I have found what's wrong with it when I turn right it turns off but when you go left It stays on I done it with out moving the bike so i check the wire at the back off the LCD screen and it was fine so i followed it down till i got to where the 3 wires are covered i touched that and it went off again so it has to be something to do with that do you have any solutions what it could be

It could be a wire broken inside the insulation. More likely, though, is a dodgy joint somewhere.

I un loosed the cable wrap and cable tied the wire to the frame I just went out on the bike and it only cut out 1 time as I was moving the cable wrap out the way but done 4 miles on it so I've found the problem for a short time fix

Guessing, possibly broken cable, one moving with the handlebars possibly.
