Hello
Just had a problem with our folding Carrera Crosscity-e
fixed not but putting it here in case it helps someone
Background - took wheels off to clean bike and re-lube chain - hence unplugged power to rear wheel and all that - and whole bike got wet
Plugged it all back in and the display (labelled 790- just leds) produced a flash code
No documentation about what it means
code was - power leds light up normally
Assists level leds flash normal start up sequence - but then, instead of settling to steady low power - the high power settles as flashing
Anyway - though there might be water in the plug so left it overnight to dry out and retried
and recharged the battery - just on case
Same result
switched everything off and left for a minute (i.e. 1 cup of tea!) and then tried it again - but this time with the cable from the battery to the motor unplugged
same result exactly
Hence - flashing "High Power led" seems to mean comms problem between the motor (or BMS??) and motor
Tried again - being careful to line up the white arrows on the 2 halves of the plug
This time it seemed to plug together more deeply
switched all on again and it all worked
I suspect that what happened is that, as the white arrows on the plugs are out of sight on mine - possibly just how the cable is laid - I may have plugged them together in the wrong orientation
But it seemed to plug together right
ANyway - hope this helps someone - as there is no documentation about the flash codes that I can find I though I better document it
