Hey so I have a bottle battery on my bike which I have been carrying in a frame bag. However thats starting to tear and I dont want to place it in the downtube as the steel is dented there.

Would I be able to place it on a pannier bag attached to my rear rack?

Yes you can, the wiring will need to adapted to reach the pannier.

I close the bag :) It is an Ortlieb, I roll down the top and clip ;)

The battery wire is protected by a spiral plastic Chinese wire protecting thingy. Usually there is another LiPo battery in there and they are connected in parallel. The LiPo battery lives in a Skip washing powder box...

Sorry, I know it sounds a bit cheeky but I can provide photos to prove that is how I carry them.

On my Boardman and Swizzbee I use a top rack bag with drop down panniers, extra batts go in the top and sides are used for tools and all other kit inc food.
