Browsing around the winternet (it's flipping cold here!) I came across this chinese manufacturers website.

ANNAD--Hangzhou ANNAD Electric Bike Co., Ltd

Must admit they do look ....er .... like ordinary bikes! but can they really be ebikes?
A fully integrated set up with only a rear hub to give it away, maybe this one will appeal to the lycra clad types

Snowing again John. I've tried getting up Back lane after a deluge of snow, it's not easy is it? lol
My brother recently had to sleep in his car overnight on the car park in front to the Post Office because he couldn't even get up the brow to get to Back lane. The post office manager kindly offered him a cup of tea in the morning. Nice people in Shevvy! lol

Ask Alberto C. he supposed to have ridden similar in Tour de France at one stage......
Never happened, it was just a smear. The motor noise from all the compact and hidden systems is unmistakeable, especially the downtube crank motor that was implied to have been used. Apart from anything else, it's too slow!

Statement from Cancellara about the accusation- “It’s so stupid I’m speechless, I’ve never had batteries on my bike.”

Sorry , not convinced at all. That looks like a gearshift cable to me which runs to rear mech

Also things don't stack up . Weight is 11kg

The smallest keyde motor is 2kg, the battery is around same watt hour as my 36v 9ah which weighs 3.4kg. As its 33v and no case - lets be generous and say battery is 3kg. So 5kg just for motor and battery

No way is the rest of that bike 6kg !

I think I agree with flecc now having magnified the photo, would be nice to see the other side of the bike showing power cable.

Hmm, the post battery is only 24v and 200-300wh (whatever that means ! Surely it's 200 or 300?)

So if 300wh at 36v is correct then must weigh more

I'll concede these could be electric but the numbers still don't stack up for me anyway

Tears at battery replacement time, I suspect - Downtube integrated & unconventional voltage to boot :(

They're definitely electric - all the Keyde light-weight stuff. Quick Cyclezee Get some, they'll sell like hot cakes.

Definitely electric, but I agree on some of the numbers. Battery capacities are very flexible anyway, they depend on the discharge rate they are quoted at, no capacity number is an absolute.

For example, one test of a 37 volt 10 Ah battery on a throttle e-bike at different consumption rates resulted in 10 Ah at the lowest rate and 7 Ah at the highest rate, so that's from 259 Wh to 370 Wh, depending on usage rate.
