I have a Kalkhoff Agattu with an Li-Ion 36V battery and charger. The charger's electrical plug is the UK three pronged plug. The manual for the cycle says that the mains plug should plugged into a socket (230-240 v).
I am planning to relocate to America and have my bike shipped over by sea. But I question if the battery charger and batter can be used there since the voltage is 120 V even if I find an electric plug that can be attached to the charger. (for example, I got a US cable to plug into the transformer for my Mac and it worked fine.)
Am I better off just selling the bike here and getting another one in the States?
Thanks,
Eileen
