Can I convert Verge X20 to electric bike?

Hi,
Would it be possible to convert Tern Verge X20(https://www.evanscycles.com/tern-verge-x20-2015-folding-bike-EV219818) to electric bike with a mid drive motor? If so, what would you recommend? It needs to be able to assist a 100KG rider go up a few not very steep hills...

Look at Ebikes Lanarkshire Folders with Fat Tyres . I have the SR20a and it goes up hills nicely , all for £725 .

You can put a Bafang BBS01 on a Tern Link so as the bottom bracket area is of similar design then yes you can put a mid-motor in.

I would go for a 48T narrow/wide chainwheel which is a halfway point between 55-42 or alternatively a 52T chainwheel and swap out the 11-28 for an 11-34 cassette. On a lightweight 20" wheel bike with a Bafang you won't need very low gearing.

PS looking at the gearing you may have chainline issues, the chainrings are Tern specific.
