C965 display showing ( ! ) and motor cut out

Hi all'
Need some help. The display on my Bafang 750w is showing the ( ! ) sign , and motor is dead. Although I have checked the brake is not engaged and also disconnected/reconnected all the cables.
At the time I was going over some very rough tracks at speed. Can anyone explain the cause, and what I might need to do to rectify?

Have you tried disconnecting both brake sensor Higo connectors and going for a ride to see if problem persists?

Be careful when riding without brake sensors connected though. Only go for test ride!

Fordulike solved this easily the same day... dislodged brake sensor
