A new friend has the above cycle and has joined me on several country rides. Now my Cube 29er takes most things in it stride. Although this folding byocycle has the power to keep up its not nice for longer rides. One of the bigger problems is pedal ground clearance, at the bottom of its stroke it's only a few inches, so anything but bolt upright on a smooth surface can be risky.
Now I've been asked what can be done to improve clearance, I'd like to say you've brought entirely the wrong bike for longer rides (30 odd miles) on country lanes, but I'm not realy like that.
So I'm thinking maybe shorter crank arms or maybe longer forks with a 24" front wheel, both ideas have there short comings and the more I think of it, the more of a lost cause it seems to be.
Please tell me " it is what it is and leave it well alone" before I make any foolish promises.
