Hi all, first post hoping to get advice. How do I get this open and wire a twist throttle? I’ve seen some chats on here and sent some messages but can’t see how exactly it’s done. The controller is made of pretty soft plastic, no screws so I’m guessing glued or clip fit, worried of breaking it getting it open, then any experience in wiring a new throttle? Any fuzzy felt pictures and easy steps very welcome!

Ahh I see why you are confused on this now. That is not the controller. That is the handlebar panel

The controller is usually a silver metal box containing a circuit board. It's the brains of the system and all wires lead to it. See if you can follow the wires from the led handlebar panel and find it

If it has spare , unused wires coming out of it then please take a few photos. It may well have a throttle connection

I've looked up your bike and it appears to be in a container u underneath the battery by the cranks

Ignore the White cable, it is a programming data cable.
As it is the pictures aren't very clear and we need to see better quality pics with the wiring spread out a bit better.

Your controller if it has no spare 3 wire connector then doesn't and can't support a throttle. A lot of bikes have three x three wire connectors, one for a wheel speed sensor, one for PAS and finally one for throttle input. You can't use any of the other two for a throttle as the pcb software won't recognise it.

I have just ordered one of these Bikes, I believe the throttle is for walking speed and I would like to have it to power the bike 100% was you successful?
