Not cheap but is one worth having? I had a quick try on one but couldn't figure how it should work.

You might find that they are about to get much cheaper. Rockshox are about to launch a new version, and the current models are now starting to be reduced in price. I'm aiming to get a very discounted one for the next bike, but frustratingly can't do so until it arrives, and I can then work out which model that I need. Hopefully another Stealth one, 'A' because I know where there is a very cheap one at the right size and length, and 'B' because I'm not keen on the look of external cable routing on the non Stealth version. Not cheap but is one worth having? Having been for a slightly muddy ride I found an undesirable side effect.. I, and my clothing were shall we say...... Compromised!!
I manage to sneak inside without being seen but I wont get away with that again...
There will be no flopping down in a chair saying "Guess where I have been, get me a beer!!"
Anyway, I am looking at these.....
has anyone tried them?
I am so glad I joined this forum.[emoji39]I think that you can already guess my opinion.
The very discreet Neo Guard will do the same job as the front mudguard shown, without compromising brake arch clearance. A muckynutz guard would also do the same job as the mud hugger, but would have the bonus of being cheaper, thinner and more flexible.
The rear guard reduces the seat stay area by too much, which restricts the terrain and conditions that you can ride in.
