Not cheap but is one worth having? I had a quick try on one but couldn't figure how it should work.
You might find that they are about to get much cheaper. Rockshox are about to launch a new version, and the current models are now starting to be reduced in price. I'm aiming to get a very discounted one for the next bike, but frustratingly can't do so until it arrives, and I can then work out which model that I need. Hopefully another Stealth one, 'A' because I know where there is a very cheap one at the right size and length, and 'B' because I'm not keen on the look of external cable routing on the non Stealth version.

Fitting a dropper seat post, has been my best mod to date, well actually my only mod to date, and I should have done it a very long time ago. I rode the pedal mtb today which doesn't have a dropper post, and I was regretting not having one, at the very first bomb hole. I hadn't even been aware of just how much that I am using it.
I don't know if it the same for all Stealth dropper posts, or whether it just my new seat clamp, but I have to be very careful of tightening the seat post clamp, as even over tightening it a fraction, prevents the smooth operation of the post.

From my favourite YT channel.

Having been for a slightly muddy ride I found an undesirable side effect.. I, and my clothing were shall we say...... Compromised!!
I manage to sneak inside without being seen but I wont get away with that again...
There will be no flopping down in a chair saying "Guess where I have been, get me a beer!!"
Anyway, I am looking at these.....
has anyone tried them?

I think that you can already guess my opinion. ;)

The very discreet Neo Guard will do the same job as the front mudguard shown, without compromising brake arch clearance. A muckynutz guard would also do the same job as the mud hugger, but would have the bonus of being cheaper, thinner and more flexible.

The rear guard reduces the seat stay area by too much, which restricts the terrain and conditions that you can ride in.

I am so glad I joined this forum.[emoji39]

Second ride out included the climb from Ilkley to Keighley gate which is 20%+ in places and with a bit of effort was impressively managed in tour. Only problem being the forks not locking out properly but a quick adjustment at the bar mounted lever sorted this out.
16 miles and 1800 ft with 4 segments still showing on the battery was also impressive.
On my 3 year old bosch classic this climb can only be completed in turbo and the ride would have depleted the battery much much more. Not to mention the that this track has steps across it to prevent erosion... fs and improved motor clearance really made a difference here.
If I had to pick one thing that I like it's the suspension lever.. why don't all bikes have this? Or do they?
Grin Grin.
