Hello

I finally brought back my kona stinky from France to London. ...
But on the way.. I realised I brought the rear wheel instead of the front wheel.

The front wheel has a specific thick axle through wheel.

I have no idea about the name.

It's something that looks like this:

Any idea where I can get a replacement wheel, and if all DH wheel are different like this?

Thanks

wouldn't it be simpler to ask your Mum/Dad to post the missing wheel to you?

the thick axle may be a 'maxle' , as on many suspension forks; my Rock Shox have one ; they're mostly plastic
The Maxxle, is just the axle, and its Rockshox product - this doesn't effect the wheel or the hub that has to be used. Its still a 20mm bolt though whether it uses a Maxxle (Rockshox) or the equivelant 20mm axles from other fork brands like Marzocchi (which will be on the Kona) or Fox or indeed anyone else.

Have you got the axle? That's what you should measure. It does look like 15mm. If you haven't got it, you need to get one. They don't come with the wheel.

It's the wrong way round. It converts a 15mm wheel, which you don't have, to a QR one for normal forks. You need one that converts a QR wheel to 15mm for 15 mm forks - if such a thing exists.
