May 29, 201510 yr Hi all, After many happy miles I've had some issues which I eventually (by the side of the road in the rain) managed to trace to the bullet connectors giving up. What have others done? Change to other connectors or just cut off the connectors, solder and heat shrink? Is it ok to do the same for the power to the controller? (Red/black pair currently on individual bullet powers) Thanks Phil
May 29, 201510 yr Bullets are ok as long as they are tight fitting, but they can get slack over time. I use Anderson Powerpoles for anything power related. They work perfectly for phase wires, and battery connectors, and can be crimped with most crimpers (and some care). This set is enough to do your phase wires and battery connector: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=301550748355&alt=web
May 30, 201510 yr replace damaged bullets then heat shrink. Andersons are excellently designed but far too bulky.
