To me, nationalist sounds like 'sovereign/identity' politics, populist is not equal to popular, usually means divisive, democracy in the nationalist populist context usually means autocracy. His campainging against LGBTQ+ means oppressing minorities.
None of them is appealing to me.

Sovereignty is a prerequisite to having a nation.
Identity is something you have to prove every time you access a bank, post office, etc. Good luck without one!
Populist means Ability to be Polular, something EUSSR apparatchiks would know nothing about.
Democracy in a Sovereign nation means rule by the people. In the EUSSR it means Bureaukrazi.
