Actually quite proud, the alternative was Corbyn,Len McCluskey and Diane Abbot. Agreed country is in a mess but stop and think where we, d be with Labour in no 10..
Its silly to knock what you, ve got when there isn't an alternative.
Tell us who to vote for Jonathon and what they can do and the this thick electorate might put right people in no10... Whilst we wait we, ll just have to put up with best we have.
Its sort of normal on here, knock everything but offer no actual alternative.
Take a good look at New Zealand and its covid track record. I voted for corby and with its flaws that alternate reality is what a labour government would have delivered.

Most likely there would be tens of thousands more alive than there are
And can you really see Corbyn throwing money to his mates as the Blond Wurzel Gummidge wannabee has?
And of course said idiot has been forced into using some of the policies Corbyn suggested

Most compelling reason that should have occurred to Boris Fans
Corbyn actually BELIEVED in Brexit and even though I don't, I know damned well he would have really tried his best to make it work and be on good terms with the EU.

Think your correlations are rather awry at best. New Zealand has had a successful covid experience for other reasons than the Government being left wing. Belgium has no right wing parties at all and a left wing government in power. It has the worst death rate of any major country.
And at the 2019 election Tories managed 43% of voting public. If opinion polls are to be believed, which to be fair is rather a stretch, they have increased that winning margin. Seems most folk don't see it your way.
But,in a perverse way, I sort of agree, trouble is we simply don't have a labour party at moment. We have 2 if them, probably more. It's a split party with too many factions, including Blair, Corbyn, Unite, Momentum and now Starmer (a Blairite)... Which Labour Party did you vote for. I didn't know who was in charge and which faction was actually "the Labour Party". If we had had a united Labour I would, and millions more would, have voted Labour.
And, I really don't think Corbyn would have had the ability to go alone with vaccine. He, d have gone along with EU, and as I, ve said before, we, d have been last in queue.

Labour may not have not done as well as it could. But the bigger problem is an electorate with all the discrimination of a labrador puppy facing a chocolate cake. Theres no point offering them nuance, complex decisions about a better future. All they want is tabloid smears and the primary colours presented by fukwits like pierce Morgan, farage, boris. Having witnessed the destruction boris has wreaked (so far) you cannot possibly be proud as a conservative voter.
Your spot on. Labour have got everything right and it’s the electorate that is at fault. Poor people need people like to tell them how to live and to save them. It’s a shame they are too stupid to realise it.

Keep telling them they are stupid and you will definitely win them over.:D:D:D

Way Labour have performed and are performing its going to be a thousand years of Boris and his ilk.... So you aren't far off...
Perhaps had the loony left, Marxists, Unite and momentum not hijacked Labour we might still have a viable opposition.
The problem is much simpler than that
At a time when we had the worst incompetent politcian ever playing the old right wing divide and rule game using modern communications technology
We had the misfortune to have the most numerous gullible soft targets for con men in the voting population
And despite everything that has happened since
The proverbial penny has remained stuck in the slot in their minds

We’ve done the New Zealand thing to death, but he’s such an idiot fixated on hating the Tories that he’ll never understand.

He can’t comprehend that 6 people living on an remote island with 50 sheep is different to 60 million people living 47 to a 2 up 2 down terraced house. You are wasting your time.

If you have no Right wing parties, how do you work out the ruling party is left wing?
Compared to what exactly?
This from Wikipedia
"These parties belong to three main political families, though all close to the centre: the right-wing Liberals, the social conservative Christian Democrats and the Socialists forming the left-wing. "
Perhaps you would find it beneficial to refer to Wikipedia rather than Mein Kampf? :D

Nice try and how do you explain Japan?
You've done that new Zealand comedy line of yours to death haven't you?

Actually the problem is we know a tendency to promote fascism and corruption wherever it looms in ugly head.

The snag for it here, is that it requires a level of organising ability, planning and competence, and a sinister plan to use.
And no one can accuse Conservatives of that
Instead of a sort of British Reich
We ended up with the Keystone Kops in a police car where the wheels fall off whenever it gets near water

I also suspect our obesity and diabetes issues are rather beyond control of even left wing heroes.
Suspect if we examined relationship between left wing governments and successful covid out comes.... There is no correlation... Except in JA's mind.
BTW OG I notice you still insist on replying. (your name comes up with no post beneath it) There really is no point, I make a habit of making sure I don't read your posts. There really is no point. I could write them for you now. You are arguing with yourself.
This is now the third time I, ve requested we close down dialogue between us. It's pointless. You have ignored every request and simply carry on. Just stop. I, ve had you on ignore for quite a while. Please reciprocate.

Whereas the Conservatives have innumerable nutter splinter groups paid with foreign money to work for agendas not favourable to the voters, who put them in power unaware of what the blighters would do once elected.
By the way I seem to recall you saying at the time you had voted for Corbyn, correct me if I'm wrong

What a silly boy you are, hiding like that, I don't post for your benefit, don't flatter yourself!
You have requested? Jolly good, request refused, but remember there is no dialogue between us to close down is there?
I simply respond as I think fit, and that requires no permission from you.
It's a bit like Brexit, it wasn't me that quit!
Eventually you'll realise the limits of hiding because you fear criticism.
When you still face it ,dare not respond and that niggles you, because others see my comments and you don't

It's a fun scenario that you created for yourself

So, our covid track record, world beating death rate, economic damage is all because of geography and demography? It has nothing to do with boris and the decisions of the government? Even for a conservative voter, that's dim.

It's strange then that you would put your faith in a man who after Boris had given instructions about mixing, social distancing etc said he would be doing no such thing.
I,m afraid its a fact Labour's response to emergency would have been as mixed up and convuluted as all their policies but would have been combined with a weak government. No way on earth would he have got an 80 plus majority, so we, d have had a dithering leader with a government unable to make a decision. Would have been an absolute nightmare.. On top of which he, d have opted into EU vaccine scheme and not gone it alone.
Its pure speculation Corbyn could have dealt with covid, all the indicators suggest he simply could not. He appeared out of his depth leading opposition, nevermind the country.
I, m afraid Johnson has been a blessing at side of what we could have had. No matter how bad Johnson has been, Corbyn would have been worse.
But we all have opinions. It's why we vote.
Instead of blaming voters perhaps you should be blaming the people who ruined Labour. If we had a viable opposition, perhaps people wouldn't have to vote Tory.

If his policies were so mixed up why has Johnson used them?
And the rest of your criticism is after all simply your opinion.
People voted Tory because they imagined they had "won" Brexit (due to propaganda) and they were being robbed of it (odd because Corbyn was in favour)
And of course Corbyn has suffered character assassination in the media paid for by foreign agencies.

Kier Starmer needs only to promise at the next general election no personal tax rises, no increase on alcohol and cigarette duty and VAT to win back a large chunk of the red wall and more in the South.
People understand Labour policy on health, education, public services.
They want all that but also want paying as little tax as possible.
