Do you think they might be self replicating?;)
No, I tried that with mine when it started to become too slow to use. I used my Do It Yourself Brain Surgery book as a guide, which has a good section on home cloning, but I think that the methods described are more for animals than objects. I then tried feeding it plastic granules and ground up old pcbs, but I din't even get a sprout, so I gave up and bought a new one.

I can recommend the methods of breeding combat hamsters in this book. It's a very rewarding activity, especially during the Winter when the weather's too bad for chess boxing or wife carrying.

I'm wondering now whether they mean hard-drives rather than laptops. The story was that the guy couldn't fix the laptop because a part was missing so he couldn't get into it. Maybe it was set to boot from external drives. On the other hand, the story was that Hunter dropped off three laptops for repair and the repairer fixed two and handed them back when Hunter brought the thing needed to get into the third.

I chatted on the phone to a relative of mine about this incident this morning. My relative was in the Merchant Navy for many years. Although he never worked on oil tankers, he worked on some huge container ships and sailed around the world several times. He said that unless the stowaways came on board just over the last few days, then it was extremely unlikely that at least some of the crew did not know they were present, and would have been paid to take them to the UK.

As part of routine maintenance of a large ship (there were 22 crew members on board) most areas of it are generally checked (there are maintenance log books etc. covering this) on a regular basis. My relative retired a few years ago before a lot of this kicked off but he said after every stop in certain ports the ship would be checked for stowaways, and he thought ships companies would be even more keen on this nowadays.

He said the only way the crew would not be aware of the stowaways is if they had only been on board for say a couple of days, or the crew were extremely poorly trained and or inexperienced.
That might be true in older bulk carriers but container ships could contain an army, unknown to everyone except the person who faked the manifest.

The truth often hurts. Breaking people's paradigms often makes them angry. Make a cup of tea, have a read of the Guardian, and you'll feel much better afterwards
What on Earth (or is it Mars) are you on about?
You came on this thread with the purpose of being a nuisance and presumably desperately seeking attention.
Juveniles do that, some of them are even capable of the occasional on topic post.
You simply get by on sympathy.
Why not start a thread on the Elections in the USA?
A normal person would do that.
Ah, now that could be the problem..... ;)
By the way how is your Brexit right wing wet dream coming along?
You seem unable to find appropriate words on the subject.
By the way I'm not angry, just puzzled, as one usually is when children misbehave publicly.

I thought the ship they were on was a tanker did it have any containers on it? Are the containers locked and sealed from the outside, I don't know but I have always assumed you could not open a container from the inside does anyone know?

During the fake Russian collusion saga, everything he had done was put under extreme scrutiny for two years, and they came up with nothing.
they did not come up with enough to charge anyone.
Nevertheless, I did not like to see a candidate tweeting 'Hello? Calling all hackers out there? Can you help digging some dirt on my competitor?'.
A similar conclusion would probably be reached with the FBI investiagation on Joe Biden's business in Ukraine.
I can't see what Joe Biden's professional expertise has that justifies his position and salary at Burisma but that is just capitalism.

I meant Hunter (Robert) Biden.

I think it's wrong to call Trump a barmy geriatric. Like him or loathe him, he's a human dynamo workaholic, and he'd put any of us to shame with how much he gets through in a day.

My prediction is now swinging in Trumps direction. Apparently, a new bomb-shell is going to be dropped tomorrow, which is going to clear up any doubt about the situation regarding Biden's corruption.

The FBI now have three laptops!!! Where did the other two come from. One has all the emails about Burisma on it, one has photos of Hunter doing all sorts of weird things like shagging while smoking a crack pipe and lots of very young girls, and the third has something else that I can't remember - maybe family stuff with very strange diary entries from teenage Ashley Biden, Joe Bidens daughter, about naked showers with Joe and how over-sexualised she was. All these things can be found on the internet if you know how to search. It's all very weird!

The Biden camp has just announced that Biden will remain locked away until election day - no more rallies, no campaigning, no press conferences, nothing. Why do you think that is? It's not exactly going to help his cause is it? In the meantime, Trump is out doing 3 rallies a day, filling each one to capacity and more.

I've been following this story for four years. It has had so many twists and turns along the way, much better than anything I've ever seen on TV, and it gets better every day. The aftermath could be pretty good too. Are all the bad guys going to jail? I think it's much more complicated than that. Remember that the Epstein story hasn't been bottomed out yet and they still have Ghislaine Maxwell in custody. All the players have something on each other, though my theory is that Trump and a few of close associates are the only more or less clean ones. I think that Trump was chosen for that reason to represent the cause of cleaning up all the corruption in the US government. During the fake Russian collusion saga, everything he had done was put under extreme scrutiny for two years, and they came up with nothing. I bet those teams of investigators would have been able to put any of us in jail within a week.
I love your wind-up's vfr, I'm learning a lot. Trump a human dynamo workaholic ha, if he moved any slower dogs would pee up his leg ;)

If that is the case, the U.K. should pump the oil off the tanker, keep it and then send the crew and pirates back to Nigeria to face the music & consequences. They’d think twice next time.

Just listened to the corpse ( Sleepy Joe) giving an interview in which he forgets who he’s running against for president. Brilliant :)

I think we are doing that, let the tanker continue its voyage, keep the stowaways in jail for a few weeks to investigate how they managed to get aboard then deport them back to Nigeria.

I'll have to split that up a bit because the question doesn't make sense as it stands.
Brexit seems to be coming along fine - just 9 more weeks and it'll all be over. As I said from before the vote, we won't notice any difference. Nothing has changed in 4 years, despite all the doom-mongers saying that the sky would fall in, so I don't expect noticeable change after January.

My right wing is doing better than my left one. I'm feeding them both with raw goose meat as a source of DNA as instructed in my home cloning guide described in the book I mentioned above; however, I need to figure out how to make them a lot bigger because they're only goose size at the moment.

Wet dreams is not something I've had since teenage, apart from when my girlfriend attacks me in the middle of the night, but, although it feels like dreaming, I'm actually awake.

Is that enough appropriate words for you?

No more VAT free from Chinese sellers.
I wonder if you'd still buy direct from China.

The key words are "opinion piece". Don't get that confused with "news article", which you're unlikely to find in the Washington Post.
And they have them in the NY Post?. Remember the Washington Post broke the Vietnam war / Cambodia bombing

The NYP article was news stated as fact, not opinion. If you have verified evidence, you can post it as fact, and if it turns out that the facts are wrong, you can be sued for slander or libel. In an opinion piece, the writer can write anything they like because it's stated as their opinion, not fact, though often spun in a way that makes thickos believe it's facts. Many newspapers have both news and opinion pieces in them, so you have to be careful which is which.

Rachel Maddow of MSNBC was sued because she made untrue slanderous statements about someone, but the crooked Judge ruled that her show is an opinion show that nobody takes literally, so found in her favour.

Did anyone ever pay VAT on anything from China ? I never did in over 10 years of trading with them and still don't expect to.

you pay VAT on goods imported from China.
I did not mean that vfr did not pay his VAT and import duty when he buys from China.
I meant many Chinese companies set up online shops and ship from EU countries with duty paid and zero VAT.
They can do that because of EU rules.
A fair few members don't know they are supposed to declare their purchase and pay VAT. They just don't know because the shipping companies don't bother to tell them.
From 1/1/2021, the shipping companies will automatically add £11 for VAT and duty declaration + VAT + duty. They will see that my prices are actually just as good if not better.

What does that make your fantasy about seven self spawning laptops?
