Democracy is the loser.

If Brexit was/is the disaster everyone who lost predicted we could rejoin.

Now we have the problem that over half the country ( a lot of people who voted remain ) feel uncomfortable with this derailment of democracy as they can see it's the thin end of the wedge.

As little as a vote was worth before is pretty much meaningless now.
Fingers you are simply guessing with no evidence and drawing some very odd conclusions when the derailment of democracy is being done by Johnson and Cummings

It could take us years to undo the damage and get the EU to accept us back and lord know what state we will have declined into by then

Funny isn't it.

The government spent millions on leaflets to every house in the country saying that whilst they thought brexit is a mistake they would honour the result.

Who is the liar?
They did honour the result by negotiating a departure deal conforming to the rules we agreed long ago, so they did not lie.

Parliament has refused to accept the deal, but that isn't the government's fault. Indeed the government is still trying and it's likely the deal will soon be accepted, possibly with tweaks.

This is how you talk to us - call us scum - and you expect us to be decent back.

Have you no shame?
This is an example of the problem we have
I posted this
"Democracy is intended to protect the weak from the strong, look at the scum who promoted leave, predatory self serving scum the lot of them. .

Are you admitting you were a member of this group?
And in your odd brain that comes out as a derogatory reference to you personally?
Have you no shame at trying to distort the message to suit your attitude?

At least I don't refer to you as scum.
And i didn't refer to you as "scum" either, are you trying to score some sort of Brownie points by deliberately twisting my statement here?
I realise this is a standard ploy, but please try to be original.

How it looks at this point
Boris will be faced with selling May's Deal, as predicted , the only way he can get any shade of Brexit through he will then face a battle with Farage in a GE
There will be no big majority for anyone, and then a coalition will go for a people's vote in another parliamentary day of the long knives.
Bercow will be last seen leaving the Building with a smile on his face that would shame Elvis.
I love it when a BRINO comes together
And if it doesn't his only legal course of action is to ask for Article 50 to be rescinded.

Nonsense. The Leave campaigners promised a deal, all saying it would be easy, and a deal you got according the the rules we'd agreed very long ago.

No official Leave campaigner ever said we'd leave with No Deal and to claim No Deal was what people voted for is BS.

Can I really believe Gove said this:

Gove says the question for MPs is, are they willing to ignore data protection legislation, the ECHR and the normal conventions of government, just so that Grieve’s curiosity can be satisfied.

Again please read the sentence.. he used the word Promoted. If you were one of the original promotors, ie the people who paid for the campaign, who paid for erroneous adds, who paid commissioned and organised computer firms to target specific groups, when yes you are included in his perjorative term scum. Otherwise you were just a punter, and not entitled to be insulted... But if you want to wear victimhood, ..its a free country.
