Not a bad summation from DM for a change.
No not a bad analysis of why people voted the way they did.. in essence that a sizable minority were objecting to the Westminster Status Quo,and if anything that number might have increased. That is was a reason to vote Against something, but not a reason to vote For something. We would call this "cutting off ones nose to spite ones face.".

he's a leaver though.

"Remainers like to claim that, three years on, the facts have changed – that there is actually a voting majority for staying in Europe after all. But the most recent poll suggested that with 57 per cent now backing Leave, the Brexit majority has increased. "
57% of the electorate backing leave?
this is on the basis of one poll out of about a hundred that confirm the opposite trend, that public choice is moving toward remain.

I’m not sure you read that correctly or are you doing a parody of exactly what he is describing remainers as?

If you are then it’s quite amusing.

What!!! worse than Brummie ?
There's even worst than just Brummie, it's Dudley, Worcestershire.

Even the rest of them in the Birmingham area can't understand them.

I use to have truck loads of goods delivered to my depot, driven by a driver from Dudley. He was a chatterbox who rambled on endlessly while in depot, and I'm sure he must have thought me the worlds best listener. The fact is that in years I never understood a single word he said.

You, ll probably all have noticed recent rise in Yorkshire accents being used in various adverts... I always think it makes people sound thick but apparently some psychologist did some study and our Yorkshire accent fosters more trust than any other???

With its economy having turned a corner and now firmly on the road to recovery, the Greeks are now electing the pro-EU New Democracy party into power with an overall majority.

They've sensibly sent their anti EU party decisively out of power, punishment for their damaging divisive policies.

We need this commonsense to spread into Italy and Austria.

it could also be because the government backed down against the EU and went totally against what it had promised. That's why Boris must do as he says ( if he becomes leader of course)

Erm wrong.

They were kicked out because they went against their word of paying back the crooks (Germans) outrageously high loan rates.

He said Greece would create a new deal and not be in hock for the rest of their lives and their grandchildren’s lives to the EU and Germany.

Once in power he went back on this.

That is why his party were thrown out.

How will you make this wrong a right one wonders.....
