Everything is an opinion, some more informed than others. No-one knows what will happen tomorrow, but it is my informed opinion opinion ,based on past experience that the sun will appear to rise in the East and travel across the sky. Someday, should i live long enough, that opinion will prove false.I see. It’s an opinion then.
Have you also noted that on every occasion the EU does a major deal it changes the deal at the 11th hour?
As it were.
Yes I am aware that deals and quotas are often the result of last minute bargaining. But this is not like that. That trading has already happened. It has been agreed by 27 nations. .. actually 28 as your head of government agreed to it. Even if they wanted to,and I believe, they don't ,the prestige of the EU would prevent them backing down. .. again an opinion. Their credibility would be shot. There was an 11th hour, It is past.
Ask yourself this simple question. What new information will arise in the next fortnight to change that. Do you not think that the possibility of a crashout was considered.? It would be the lesser of two evils as far as the EU is concerned. There are people in Brussels and Luxembourg who can read the English language, they watch BBC on satellite, they get newspapers.
Then extrapolate to a month, two months . Then its over.....
The game is totally and fully in the hands of the UK.
