The usual selection system is to have them stand in a line and at the sound of a whistle or pistol shot, last one to the Exit gets the job?
Alternatively they could have a panel of Cartoon artists choose, which to me narrows the choice down to just two

I think the cabinet have been told to go away and repeat those phrases over and over....David Davis managed to stand in parliament for 40 mins without saying anything other than those phrases.
By now we should be beyond those scratch notes that the girl from No9 managed to show the world....my friend inside the Foreign Ofice has said that they have done nothing,repeat nothing,on Brexit....most of the civil servants think it won't happen,we just don't know how to do it.
But what we do know is that it has caused the £ to bomb,that will cause rampant inflation in 2017,which will cause the B of E to increase interest rates,which may cause the £ to rise,but prices will not come down.
We also know that we are going to have to make a choice between control of immigration and the single market/customs union.....what is 100 per cent certain is if we want to stay in the single market we will have to continue making payments to the EU and accept the existing EU tariff controls,so a free market with the rest of the world will only be with agreement of the EU.
Or we will quit the single market and accept tariffs between the UK and the EU,we can then do a free trade deal with say China,there are whole chunks of our industry that would be destroyed by the Chinese.
We are risking so much just to control immigration,which I think we will not achieve even after Brexit....we already have the right to control non EU immigration but we don't seem to be able to reduce entry.
Lister,where are these wonderful deals around the world? That are so good to justify turning our backs on the EU,????

Still not answered. It's ok to keep criticising Theresa May who has been left in a difficult position by the cowardly actions of Cameron, but do you have a credible alternative in any of our political parties. I get the feeling that whoever had the job you would not be satisfied.
i agree about TM being in an impossible position but she put herself in this position....she decided Brexit after Cameron dumped the mess on her,even though she was (and maybe still is) a luke warm Remainer.
But her big fault is one of lack of transparency,forget the rubbish about not showing our cards,the EU know exactly what we want out of our exit,but have made it very plain we are not going to get single market and free movement.....she is putting off the day when she is going to have to make a choice and tell us.
I would be satisfied in any politician that gave us a second referendum,but TM has said she won't give us that.
It could all fall apart when she starts to negotiate Leaving...I get the impression that it will be the Leavers who will be unhappy with the final deal,if we ever get a deal.
TM speech today asked us all to unite but she hasn't given us anything to which we should unite around.

Let us not forget those who have fallen in previous years and those who will fall in the Boxing Day sales tomorrow. These warriors will be fighting on the Currys, NEXT and IKEA fronts, which have seen some of the worst bloodshed over the years. They will be involved in a violent struggle to buy material good which they don't need with money that they don't have. This selfless sacrifice will be in the name of the economy, which must continue to grow regardless of the human cost.
The victors will emerge with 32" 720P HD Ready Blaupunkt flat screens, which they will believe that they have purchased for half the retail value. The defeated will be queueing for 12 hours at A&E, nursing mallet wounds, gouged eye sockets and bloodied noses.
So when we are tucking into the turkey with our families, let us set aside our differences over BREXIT and come together in order to remember those who are on the eve of battle.

A perfect example of the inadequacy of their "bargains".
Breaking it down:
32" = too small by today's standards
720p = inadequate when 1080i is so much better.
HD Ready = not HD for most viewing.
Blaupunkt = a brand not commonly on sale with questionable support.
But the dent in their finances is the real thing.

Totally agree and I've said before, a proportion of the goods presented in these "sales" is low quality tat bought in specifically for the sales period. This is particularly true in the clothing sector.
It doesn't seem to stop the shoppers though.
