Here's some numbers for you... 3 recent by elections totals.

Conservative (inc. Zac Goldsmith) - 53,521
Liberal Democrat - 35,727
Labour - 10,643
Minor parties/independents - 6,901
UKIP - 5,780

Of the votes cast above, these are the percentages/shares:

Conservative - 47.54%
Liberal Democrat - 31.74%
Labour - 9.46%
Minor parties/independents - 6.13%
UKIP - 5.14%

So UKIP don't appear to be too popular in all post referendum elections.
I will agree that the percentage of votes cast for UKIP has declined in the two recent by-elections.

There are a multitude of reasons why that has happened and we can each have our own opinion on that. The reality is, no one knows what the actual answer is. Certainly not me or you. Fact.

it would be a fact, if you got your statement correct ;)

it's 3 by-elections

Idiot. What are you talking about. If you must haunt these pages, try to communicate coherently.

Now, what is the point that you are trying to make?

If that's the best that you have, then I believe that I have made my point.
I wasn't disagreeing with you, so I didn't need to make a point.
The UKIP vote has declined in all by-elections and pretty much all the council elections I've seen since the Referendum, we can only guess as to why that is.

Its just the fact you said "FACT" when your statement was incorrect that I thought was worth highlighting.

derf, are you making an allegation that gray198 and I are one of the same person? At least have the moral courage to state clearly to everyone reading this exactly what you are saying.

Think very carefully before you answer that question. I can put up with your clowning around calling everyone who disagrees with your point of view a racist, but this has gone too far. Not that I have any problem with grey198, but I don't want to be linked to his posts. In the same way, I am sure that grey198 does not want linking to me or my posts .I believe that gray198 will agree with me over this.

Now state exactly what you are saying and be warned, that if you repeat your allegation, I shall ask the moderators to review what you are saying. I have never done this before, but you are crossing a line here derf.

you and others like you have created this little xenophobic mess. their casualties in a much less stable post eu world is on your conscience. I'm hoping any such sacrifice has the noble side effect of ridding the world of some of the racist scum that voted brexit.
You really should not be allowed to post this bile.
For what its worth reported...

I have never done this in the 8 years that I have been a forum member, but I have asked the moderators to investigate @derf and to try and get to the truth over this accusation that gray198 and I are the same person.

I can tolerate has habitual racist accusations. His desire to see mass war casualties is getting close to my limit of tolerance, but he has gone too far for my liking over the identity accusation on this occasion.

I have not yet received a response from the moderators, but in the meantime if anyone can help me with regard to setting the record straight I would appreciate it. I have been a member using tillson as my user name for over 8 years and have never used any other name to post or like / dislike posts.

I have been around on Pedelecs for a lot years and many of you must know me. Whether you agree or disagree with the content of my posting is another matter, and I hope that you can set that aside when considering whether it is acceptable for a fellow forum member to make these sorts of accusations. Any help proving my identity will be welcome.

Thank you.

The two parties which support BREXIT, Conservative and UKIP, between them took 67% of the vote. A very clear endorsement of the EU referendum result and certainly more meaningful than Richmond.

I am very pleased to see the Liberal Democrats and Labour squeezed into insignificance in 3rd and 4th place respectively. Well done to UKIP on their continuing journey towards glory.
Except of course that is in a journey in the opposite direction, as the Lib Dems and Tories both took votes off them.
Frankly they may as well disband today to avoid future embarrassing losses.
They have no reason to exist any more do they?

I know, he is an outrage. The desire to see mass war casualties actually shocked me, and that isn't done easily.

I'm not prepared to engage in wild speculation and superstition. Like you, I can't second guess what a person's motivation is for acting in a particular way. But that has never stopped you from trying.

I prefer to rely on hard evidence and data. That same hard evidence and data shows a 67% support for the parties committed to leaving the EU. Regardless of whether turn out is up or down, 67% is the number.
But 30 odd percent less turned out when this was supposed to be a critical test of public opinion?
They demonstrated that all right and didn't bother!
UKIP lost out to both the Tory party and the Lid Dems, and lost votes shame it doesn't suit you, but that's just tough.
Only the lid Dems actually gained.

Gray cant be Tilson, I was informed by Tom I was...then again he thinks I,m French and live at North pole...
Thanks Zlatan; you really do make me feel superior.

I know the difference between a comma and an apostrophe. You might wish to consult a dictionary as, for example, you will find that the word 'cant' has an interesting meaning.

My dictionary doesn't actually have any meaning for 'i,m' although I can guess at a few acronyms close to that'.

I also know how to spell 'tillson' and note it is not capitalised but hey!.....best of luck with your 11+ when you come to sit it.

But you are a fool tom, so it must be very difficult for you to live with yourself.

Are you having a sign made which says, "Road Closed due to Retards"? I would have thought that to be much more your level.
Referring to that first sentence It has never troubled you tillson, be fair nor"Nigel" from the north pole/ France/ no fixed abode either. so why should it affect Tom?
