And you wonder why you lost. How high and mighty you think yourself to be! To all the honest decent people who voted how they did for their own good reasons - and you treat them like this. Shame on you. Seriously. Shame on you. Shame on you for your utterly disgusting attitude. Shame on you for being so utterly disrespectful. Shame on you for calling the majority of voting Brits feckless and lazy. How dare you treat so many hard working decent people with such disdain. You have nothing but my contempt.
Unfortunately its not unique. Leavers have been spoken to in a similar vain throughout this thread. You,ll be labelled a troll soon, probably a racist, definitely mis informed and without doubt xenophobic. Both of us ! ( and Woosh and Tillson and a few others who moved on...) When they get desperate they attack your spelling and grammar..
Thing to remember tho is its quite a mad place populated by old codgers with nothing better to do, its like been insulted in a care home...just smile and move on. Nurse will be along with their meds soon...
They have all wound themselves up to a frenzy believing their own rhetoric as fact..Just remember they know best and their opinions are far more valued and righteous than ours.
Oh, I forgot. We are fascists aswell.
Didn't realise ticking leave on that paper would inflict on my a lifetime of fascism, racism, muddled thinking, xenophobic oblivion...oh and bankruptcy pushing a hand cart to a run down ghost town. Ahwell.

There are several problems with your post.
  1. Steb did NOT say all Brexit Voters were guilty did he?
  2. Are you doubting that there are a core of people who are as he described?
  3. Are you actually maintaining that the majority of "Brits" did check the facts before voting in the referendum? Nonsense, as even the leaders of the leave campaign didn't did they?
  4. As an example you haven't been able to give a good reason for voting that way yourself, have you? just the usual nonsense, and wishful thinking.
Shame on you , seriously, for responding in such a fashion when Stebs criticism has far more justification than your attack on him.
He has nothing but your contempt?
Gosh, is there some there for me to share too, I simply love the contempt of people not able to understand their actions are actually damaging the future of the nation.
How dare Steb upset you by telling the truth as he sees it?
Good for him!

The leave side won because people who should have checked accepted lies and were mislead, but that excuse is worn out now, time to accept that you made a mistake and stop being so upset when it is pointed out to you.
Show us a reasoned argument supporting Brexit
That's all you have to do.

You really really need to decide if you are on the side of the Angels, as you can't really complain people call you a troll and then respond "its quite a mad place populated by old codgers with nothing better to do, its like been insulted in a care home...just smile and move on. Nurse will be along with their meds soon..."
Without actually descending to the level you just ranted on about!
That's what I like most about your posts, excellent work and so eloquent and imaginative too.
I think your talent for the absurd truly humorous at all times, I really do, as not many people excel in shooting their own feet in the space of a couple of sentences, but you have provided that spectacle on a regular basis.

Welcome back, the truth hurts, huh? As the incredible stupidity of brexit becomes ever more apparent, to the world, my view of brexit voters, like you, should probably be the least of your concerns. But I can appreciate that you may not be able to see that.

They really are a miserable bunch. Old Groaner with his laser sharp logic but not an ounce of true insight. Dave with his prima donna self obsession. KLM - well it's a wonder he sells anything given the way he thinks. And Whoosh even he occasionally gives into the idea that some sort of 'soft' Brexit is anything other than a total contradiction in terms. But at least he's honest. I won't even try to say anything about Tom because the internet is the only social life the guy has and who would take that from him? Not me.

And so it rolls on.

Not an ounce of insight yet managed to correctly forecast that leave would win the referendum?
Someone seems confused

I go back to the wafer thin majority again and winning and losing. Approx 32million people voted. 17 voted one way and 15 the other. Had 1 million more out of the 32 million who voted voted for stay, the referendum would have been lost. So the margin of victory was actually only 3%. .
Now how many people voted for more control over their lives, how many intensely disliked the EU so much that they wanted out irrespective of the cost, how many wanted to control immigration and how many wanted to protest against those faceless people in Whitehall... Sticking it to the man as it were . How many wanted to help the NHS, and were led to believe that this was a better way of doing so. How many had thought deeply about the implications of leaving and saw it was a patriotic and noble thing.

Likewise how many people were fearful that leaving the EU, and wanted to retain the status quo, how many had wanted to support the conservative government particularly the then PM. How many had looked at the complexity of the interactions and saw it as a none starter. How many were really happy with their ability to travel , study, and work anywhere in 28 countries. How many people listened to the bank of England, the major employment companies and believed them when they said it would reduce employment and damage exchange rates.

Now you might , indeed should be angered by words like xenophobic, lazy particularly if they don't apply to you personally, and applying them to a group is potentially racist. However you must agree that there was a vocal element within the Brexit leave campaign which was anti immigration, and white supremacist in nature. The murder of an MP in the week leading up to the referendum, is evidence. In fact, following the referendum result, the HR department of a major London hospital of which I have knowledge, found it necessary to issue a notice to staff , particularly non UK nationals that they were valued, such was the level of panic and foreboding. A number of these people have decided to vote with their feet and leave the NHS , and England, such is their disquiet. Their expertise is not easily replaced.
You may make either of three responses to this posting
1. Ignore it , in which case I will assume you agree,
2. Refute it point by point, in which case I can respect your view
3. Issue a pointless comment along the lines of .. we won get over it....

Now I'm going to go for the Subtle response.
We lost, get over it,
and let the Brexit Voters savour the full flavour, smell, and how like a proverbial sticky toilet roll coated in oven cleaner , their victory will turn out to be.

He cant possibly answer that. Suppose I called you an alcoholic , its impossible to prove you are not. You are asking him to prove his is neither a xenophobe or racist. Its impossible to do so. Its been the brunt of Tom's and to a lesser degree Fleccs argument throughout. You simply can not prove you are not a racist..( both Flecc and Tom quoted " my best friend is black..blah blah blah"
You lot really have grabbed the moral high ground . You,ve all picked up on the racist card, little England BS and insist on playing it. Its actually self defeating and destructive to your cause. You should all have stuck to the economic, social and difficulties extracating ourselves. Attacking leavers simply reinforces their views and makes them withdraw, but not change their minds. Many remainers have simply demonstrated their lack of knowledge about human nature.
I think the EU is the most corrupt inefficient organisation on the planet. End of. Nobody should be labelled because of voting in a certain way.
By the way its not racism, its prejudice.
Other thing that now makes me laugh, used to make me angry, is how so many of you jump on leavers backs for being even slightly insulting..but Tom and many more like him insist on insulting leavers continually with not a word from you or perceptive king OG..just another ironic prejudice.
Steb did insult Oxygen. Ok , it happens. Oxygen has a go back and OG in his typical fashion attacks Oxygen and defends Steb..Prejudice again. Its a joke, when remainers are purporting to being objective.
Without realising it nearly all remainers are demonstrating tribalism but make arguments attacking it. Epitome and ironic spring to mind.

I think the charge of corruption would stick but inefficiency is much more difficult to substantiate.

if one particular directive does not suit us, we don't have to import it. Disputes between members are arbitrated by EFTA court. Their judgement is advisory.
I did tell you that EFTA would suit us.
Do you honestly think that any judgements handed down by foreign judges will sit well with the racist clowns who simply want an all-white UK having no truck with any foreign judges, imagining that that will represent the taking back of sovereignty......the sovereignty that was never given away, never lost, never taken from us in battle?

EFTA has no advantages for the UK when compared to our membership of the EU. We should simply remain, stabilise the currency and adopt the € as we should have done at the turn of the century.

Your arguments are a little thin on Authenticity especially after the many posts you have written attacking Juncker and describing him in the most derogatory fashion, yet for some reason regard prejudice as a huge sin.
So the EU is "is the most corrupt inefficient organisation on the planet. End of. " is not prejudice.
I admit Prejudice against foolish decisions being made by gamblers with the welfare of the nation because they think they can profit from it while others suffer
