Brexit, for once some facts.

......and non of this is helped by remain supporters such as oldtom relentlessly attempting to link BREXIT with Adolf Hitler and events in Germany during the 1930s and 40s.
Even a blind man could see the links between the 1930s fascist politicians and their 21st century successors. I have pointed out repeatedly that you are in denial 'tillson' but your arrogance and pomposity don't permit you to admit you are on the same team as 'Britain First', the 'EDL' and the murderous, fascist dog soldier, Thomas Mair.

Mair may have used the knife and gun against a young woman but he was inspired by the racist supporters of Farage, Johnson and the other right-wing extremists you idolise in your misplaced notion that 'Brexit' is a courageous political course.

Creatures like you 'tillson' are wholly responsible for creating the divisive political landscape that provides inspiration and justification for the kind of sub-human, racist thugs who believe in false messiahs. That you choose to ignore or deny the fact that neo-nazism is alive and very active in the UK simply illustrates that you and Thomas Mair are not really very different.

The hysteria from some contributors in this thread is representative of what is taking place in the wider community.
.......Yes but...... Can you not agree , hysteria or not that there a significant number of on line forums , where the level of invective published puts any offensive comments quoted here into the halfpenny place. Words matter, they provide licence for action.

And where is your evidence that BREXIT was about forcibly removing EU nationals? You don't have any do you?
I don't think I said anything of the kind 'tillson' but I know that you said this:

BREXIT has always been about controlling immigration and there is a world of difference between control and expulsion
That is simply your opinion, an opinion you naively hold in the same way that you held the opinion that the NHS would benefit hugely from 'Brexit'. You discovered subsequently that you were lied to by shysters, the very patriotic Englishmen in whom you placed your faith, but you still believe in the cause of these shysters because you can't bring yourself to admit you are wrong. That's very sad

Obviously, because I have never proclaimed that EU nationals would be repatriated, I need no evidence, I'm sure you will agree.

You should recall however, that there were many calls from other members of your tribe for that very thing to happen and that alarmed many, many people, even some who had voted 'leave' in the referendum. No assurances from arrogant, pompous devotees of Farage and his gang is likely to alleviate the fears of all those of foreign extraction currently resident in the UK, raised by your friends.

action, yes, but more often than not, it's gratuitously offensive in some corner.
I find it debasing the debate.

Nonsense, the wider community aren't even discussing this matter. They have many other issues of much greater interest, namely the things that affect themselves. As ever, self-interest rules.

There is a great deal of discussion taking place all around us and a lot of negative misinformation about the future of immigration and immigrants is being propagated. We all know that oldtom has self control issues which result in him getting over-excited and carried away, and we can smile at his Nazi contributions. But there are other people like oldtom in the wider community and our friends from other countries mistake these oldtom's for credible people. When they hear the Nazi warnings and rumblings about being sent packing, it causes them alarm & distress. This isn't acceptable and it is a root cause of insecurity amoungst immigrants.

I'm sorry that you are stubbornly sticking to this fantasy, it's not typical of your usual rational self.

The wider public have had ten months of solid Brexit and they are frankly sick of the subject and waste no time on it, or on the tiny minority discussing it

They have their own concerns about life in general, all far more important to them than the politicians current favourite subject.

The creature should be obliged to display this prominently on his house frontage wherever he may live, for the rest of his life:

David Cameron was a fool and he will only be remembered for a catastrophic judgment error which cost him everything. That will always overshadow everything that he has ever done and everything that he may achieve in the future.

To refer to him as a creature (a sub-human being) is out of all proportion. Can't you see the parallels between your own vile hatred of fellow human beings to the values held by perpetrators of some of the most hideous and murderous act of racism in history? Like you, they were / are propelled by a sincerely held belief that they are a superior being to their enemy. That they are answerable only to a higher authority and that to eradicate those who they view as "creatures" is an entirely justified enterprise.

You need to take a good long look in the mirror and decide exactly what it is that faces you. I think that you may be a monster in the making.

Yes, that part of your desperate attempt to salvage some credibility after your recent shameful contributions is correct, 'tillson'.

Your state of being in denial, however, comes shining through again with the same arrogant pomposity that prevents you identifying the real source of the fear being suffered by those who have read, or listened to, or watched on TV, the racist rants of your führer, Farage, and his acolytes in fearmongering.

Creatures like you 'tillson' are responsible for the uncertainty felt by foreigners living in the UK and those who are considering coming here; you are responsible because you have declared your allegiance to overt fascists, willingly and knowingly.

If only 'tillson' and the other perverted minds that share his evil and sociopathic beliefs had grown up in an environment which permits and encourages independent thought and teaches history correctly, they would understand a little of the true story of politics in the UK.

Sadly, more needs to be done to change the upbringing and education of our children to avoid the 'tillsons' of this world entering adulthood with all the responsibilities required absent in their mindset.

This sticker actually explains why there are 'tillsons' in society - incredibly, they are free to walk the streets and even vote due to the closures of many fine mental health institutions followed by the disbandment of the 'care in the community' programme.

Tom tillson,
Your comments both ways are getting very personal, I am finding it hard to accept as banter and it's crossed the line I'm my mind.
Could you both restart with factual statements rather than Natzy, monster ping pong please.

oldtom, if you can't speak your mind civilly then just don't. It's not a gentleman's behaviour IMHO.

I,d have to disagree with you on that Tillson.Fortunately nobody is making the same inflamatory lunatic statements as Tom, and only on here would he get any support.
I think he is a product of the lax posting rules in here...He,d be banned on any other specialised forum..after all it is supposed to be a bike one with ,one would have expected, civil attitudes. Tom is the antithesis of civil..Just count the number of folk he has insulted on here, all of whom ,to their credit, take his insult without retaliating .

the Independent leader this morning points out something interesting
"
Brexit: Theresa May accused of sweeping 'power grab' with plan to rewrite new laws without MPs approval
'Theresa May and her ministers are resembling a medieval court,' says Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake
"
Cabinet minister David Davis revealed the Government could tamper with up to 1,000 pieces of smaller legislation and will also introduce a raft of other acts of parliament – including on immigration and the customs union – in order to make Brexit a reality.

The Brexit Secretary said: “These steps are crucial to implementing the result of the referendum in the national interest. I hope all sides will recognise that, and work with us to achieve these aims.”

Brexit, but not as sold to the Public.
Return it as "Not as Advertised"
"Unfit for purpose intended"
