Now Iceland telling citizens to get ready for the False Flag incident.
They've all got the same EUSSR script!
The world does not need Putin, Trump and Netanyahu.
Until they are all gone, all you can do is to prepare for troubles.

Fined for what? Restrictive practices? Vague!
Not that I'm a fan of either, staying clear of both ;-)
They are usually fined for infringing GPDR, CT sweet deals and restrictive practices on their software market place. What do large social media companies do with personal data they collect from your phones? And AI hallucinations? Small prints at the bottom of the web pages are not enough.

A lot of MEPs freeload on the gravy train that is the EU. However, the EU Commission cannot punish nor stop them directly. It's up to the states' governments to take them to court. That's how it is with the RN's MEPs. In the UK, conservatives did not want to take farage to court.

It's a complicated case. Did you look into it before posting? Lagarde's role in it as Sarkozy's finance minister is she sent the case to arbitration. There wasn't much alternatives. The case dragged on for 11 years without solution until then. With hindsight, she should have left it drag on because Tapie was a fellow minister. Her action was seen as favouring her friend. She nor her boss Sarkozy did not have any role in the arbitration itself.
PS: the justice system in France is more complicated compared to the UK. You have several types of courts. The word Court (in French Cour de. .. something) lis liberally used such as Cour des comptes, similar to our OBR. The one that found Lagarde in the wrong is the CJR (Cour de justice de la République) which is equivalent to our ‘Office of Parliamentary and Ministerial Standards’ . The CJR criticises ministers on their poor decisions. They don't send anyone to jail but can impose fines. Banks infers some criminal justice court. The CJR is not one of them.
Lagarde is not liable for any charge under the normal judicial system.
