The Guardian has this
Telegraph issues correction over Boris Johnson's false UK economy claim

Claim UK would overtake Germany was former columnist’s own extrapolation, says newspaper

What a shame, it would be nice wouldn't it?
How can anyone believe a word he says?
Never mind that, effing Mike Bushell has survived another vote-off on Strictly Come Dancing, this time pushing Viscountess Weymouth out of the contest. What a fix!

Let’s just get Brexit done now so that we can focus on issues like game show vote rigging. Brexit has dragged on long enough, vote Tory and get it all wrapped up & put to bed prior to Easter.

Erm...well as this is awkward...

She is black.

It's a known fact that you get voted off first if you are black. Strictly is the most racist program out there.

The first six evictees this year were the people of colour.

It happens every year.

It's a standing joke within the industry.

Someone might not be best pleased to see this:

Juncker: Boris Johnson told 'so many lies' in EU referendum campaign

European commission chief says he regrets not getting involved in 2016 campaign

Boris Johnson told “so many lies” during the EU referendum campaign, the outgoing president of the European commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, has said.

In a valedictory interview with the German magazine Der Spiegel, Juncker voiced regret he had not countered the claims of the leave campaign in 2016. The commission decided not to get involved on the advice of David Cameron, who feared interventions from Brussels would backfire.

Juncker said that had been a big mistake, adding: “So many lies were told, including by current prime minister, Boris Johnson, that there needed to be a voice to counter them.”

Actually, now you have said that I can see some truth in the statement. Dev got the push and he was far better that Bushell. Well well, who would have thought it?

But that's not important, let's get Brexit done.

In unlikely news, the SF and SDLP parties have decided not to contest some seats. This is in order to facilitate some remainders retaining or getting seats. A sign of the times is that Sylvia Harmon, a decent Unionist ,but clear Remainder has been endorsed by SF . What is surprising is that she is the widow of an RUC Chief Constable.

BJ rules out extending implementation period beyond 2020.
I expect that would be WTO brexit on 1/1/20201 and that's likely accepted by Farage to pull his candidates.

Looks like Sir Lindsay Hoyle will win speaker election - not there yet but well ahead of everyone else.
Listening to a Radio 4 program the other day, I was amused to learn that John Bercow has become a cult figure in Germany. It was his strident and gutteral "Order, Order" that had attracted attention there. Apparently board meetings and the like there are now frequently being opened there by the Chairperson using that phrase, including imitating the strident, hoarse accents!

Who could have guessed? Liked or not, there's no doubt John Bercow's character will be missed.

Sunday Times buries People’s Vote poll after the result doesn’t go the way they hoped
The Sunday Times dropped a poll on the People’s Vote to an inside page after the result didn’t go the way they hoped. A survey of 12,939 readers revealed 70 per cent want a second referendum on EU membership. Rupert Murdoch, who owns the newspaper, was an ardent supporter of Brexit

Sooner or later...
