The insults come from remainers. It runs through pretty much all of them. And when you pull them up on it, it’s either ‘not me guv’ or ‘it’s just harmless banter’

Or this new one of characters and shapes on a screen..... As if that’s an excuse for insults. Kids shouting out insults whilst playing computer games is what you can expect and is a sign of immaturity but the remainers do not have that excuse. Their only real excuse is they can’t accept they lost and are having nothing left but insults.

A shame but it’s good to know who these people are.
You have no proof for that assertion, but here is one that is easily proved.
Gove made the accusation that remainers look down on leavers as thick and stupid, and people like you have traded on this myth right from day one.
Leavers don't use insults? don't you read the papers where anyone who opposes breixt is Branded "Traitor" "Enemy of the people" etc, etc?
Mp's pilloried in the press?
I don't know how you have the sheer cheek to come out with blatant lies like that.Lets have no more of this nonsense

As I said a device with serial data reading capacity, a comparator with a specific string of data and a potential short circuit crowbar can kill any device, and remain dormant for decades
you can do more by taking over the device than destroying it.

Lets take the scenario from one of those cheap technothriller books I often read, when, not correcting the logic of Brexiteers.. I am referring to books in the Tom Clancy tradition.
In this an American corporation starts selling very advanced weapons to the US armed forces.. smart tanks ,smart rifles smart shells ,etc etc. After 10 years the entire current inventory is smart weapons ,and the only old stuff is in mothballs. Then a number of container ships arrive from China, all filled with soldiers and tanks . So just before the battle, the kill command is issued to all these smart weapons... No comms, no radar, planes fall from the sky, guns don't work... USA surrenders without literally a shot being fired.
Of course the American corporation was a front. It being an American book, the gutsy hero, goes to the old decommissioned dumb machines and they have round two.

you take a memory dump, you get the usernames, passwords, crypto keys, the lot. You control the enemies' communications and weapon systems etc.
Think Stargate SG1!

The answer to the problem is to run custom firmware on your device, then you can take back control of your borders.....hang on, where have I heard that before.

Uh
That would be true.. the ARM processor, brilliant commercial British endeavour..and then you sell it off to the Japanese

It was part of a bigger global arrangement.

I can't say too much. But you read those sort of novels I understand.

Your mate 50 fired first shots. We, ll forget it this time, put it down to youthful exuberance.. Have a word with him...

Another great week for Spurs zlats. Do you think we could over take if this carries on for maybe another four years?

Why would you put ole in charge just because he played for you twenty years ago?

You need major rebuilding and I'm not just talkin the stadium.

Javid, Hunt, Williamson, Fox & Mordaunt appear to be in the frame for leaking the news regarding Theresa May’s decision to approve the Chinese telecoms company to become involved in building the UK’s 5G network. All advised against the decision and the leak is said to be part of a leadership ambition, by wanting to appear tough on China!

Now who would burn what’s left of the UK’s credibility for their own personal gain?

Cue criminal inquiry, apparently. In this case, despite it being impossible to gather a more obsessively self serving amoral bunch of rats, there may however be a public interest argument. But its morbidly fascinating, anyway, a very drawn out performance of ceasar with awful lines and without a brutus.

Does a Journalist have to reveal by law their source? Someone was on the Politics Live show earlier today and they said the Telegraph who broke the story would not be saying who gave them the details.

I have no idea if they have to give this info or not, if they don't then I doubt if we will ever find out who leaked.

I'm not sure if journos have a right to some sort of privilage which allows them to keep their sources secret. My instinct is, no they don't. If I am right and a court ordered them to reveal their source, I suppose they could be held in contempt if they refused.

I'm not going to be expecting much to happen. There was a Tory MP linked to a dodgy investment company that has been fleecing people, yesterday. It seems he was / is being bunged £85K a year for 4 hours work per week, nice. The week before that, another Tory MP was convicted of theft from the public purse, wonderful. It seems like anything goes. Even the old Tory line of "Do what thy like but thou shalt not get caught" doesn't apply anymore. You can get caught and cary on regardless, ****-hot!

A journo can be forced by law to reveal their sources but it's considered very poor form to do so. When they don't they are usually jailed for six months or so and welcomed back as heroes.

What you are describing has actually happened a number of times in Irish courts or tribunals Where Journalists have refused to name sources and have been jailed for contempt. It almost always is resolved by the Judge vacating the order. To protect from embarrassment, Judges would normally not press the matter knowing what the inevitable response and martyrdom will result.

There is no offense of "contempt of court ", so there is no fixed penalty. What there is is a continuous imprisonment cycle and immediate return to the court , the next day in order to "purge the contempt"
