The HoC needs to make a decision of amending the withdrawal act by next Friday..using whatever methods, SI or whatever is the norm. BUT A DECISION is necessary.
Then there are other actions to be taken within the fortnight following
we are not leaving the EU yet.
we have up to 11-April to decide how long to ask for a new extension.

Meanwhile, the revoke A50 petition currently stands at 4,252,875 @ 13:07
At current progress, it'll hit 5 millions tomorrow. TM can't ignore it anymore.

There would be no constitutional and democratic crisis.

This government is patently not delivering Brexit and the HoC is incapable of delivering anything. So I agree that a GE with options both ways would be ideal. But failing that, the next best option is to let the people decide via a repeat referendum in the light of what they know now, which is infinitely more than they knew back in 2016.

After all, it was handed to the people in the first instance, so now parliament can't make up its mind it's only rational to let the people complete the process in lieu.
.
How will a GE offer options for both leave and remain. It didnt last time and neither party has actually altered any policies. We will be in same position post another GE.. Probably with a stronger Tory party majority. You, ve said yourself voters dont vote according to manifestoes. Cant see at all how another GE helps.

May i refer my Learned friend from Louth East to the following Article sub-section 4 for his perusal...

View attachment 29598
Has a minister of the crown actually made any regulation under sub-paragraph 4 yet?
But i suppose that doesn`t matter now..... seems anything goes, hey, it`s only Law..
Thank you... That is normally how laws are enacted. A due date is specified ,and wriggle room allowed. Would the term SI refer to the actual issuing of the due date, and signed by the Minister. Any modification to that Act , including issuing a regulation must surely require a notification to parliament.

I did that sometime ago along with uncle tom. Big improvement
Why didn’t I realise this before? I’m putting him on ignore. I won’t be missing anything. I barely read his nonsense and insults anyway.

Clicky on ignore.

Good advice.
It was too complicated for yu to understand anyway, wasn't it?
Thank goodness I won't have to put up with your nonsense, reponses, but I will comment on your posts as usual.

Define fear.

Whatever happens won’t affect me. My industry is bullet proof to Brexit or remain. I have no fear whatever the outcome. Although if the government capitulates on this then I do think our democracy will be seen as a sham. And I’m not sure where that rabbit hole will lead. It’s not fear. It’s just sensible and reasonable thinking of an outcome given a set of circumstances.

The only vote that can reasonably be countenanced is a general election. The referendum is done. If however a political party really believes like you that the nation doesn’t want Brexit then they can put their money where their mouth is and put in their manifesto that they will revoke Article 50.

It’s the only way. Anything else will lead to constitutional and democratic crisis.
Your industry is bullet proof to brexit or remain, perhaps, but you aren't...

HE CAN'T SEE THIS … LOL
You are slow aren't you?
Everyone else can, now think what that means, he has no idea what is being said about him and his comment in public.
Smart move yes?
Come on Daveboy I was willing to debate your reasons for leaving, but you need to be sharper than that.
I'm a socialist too remember, but one that doesn't like the retreat from Europe and ceding power to Germany, when we could have been equals to them.

This was a huge strategic mistake we have fought to avoid for 500 years , then gave it up at a stroke.
Quite like Corbyn, but he thinks too small.

"Former Ukip leader Nigel Farage re-joined the March to Leave in Linby, near Nottingham, on Saturday morning telling around 200 Brexit supporters that Mrs May had reduced the nation "to a state of humiliation".
Speaking from the top of an open-top bus, Mr Farage said those gathering for the People's Vote march in London were not the majority, before leading the crowds through the village."

More info
A new record breaking petition. In 2016 the petition about EU Referendum Rules triggering a 2nd EU Referendum (Petition 131215) got 4,150,262 signatures. Today the Revoke Article 50 petition passed that figure, now at 4,305,786 signatures and rising

yup, i imagine being a troll means making money out of whichever way the wind blows. Probably also out of sowing more division. so a ge instead of a referendum that sheds light on how corrupt the leave campaign was. what a sham you are.
