Yes, I think the manual that came with my chain said the missing link could be used up to 3 times (or something like that). You can buy replacement missing links too. I haven't ridden with that bike yet so don't know how well it will last, but I don't foresee any problems. Assuming it works fine I can see me using this sort of chain pretty exclusively from now on - it was remarkably easy to take the chain off the bike without using any tools whatsoever.
