Anyone know where I can get a rear brake caliper for an Alien Aurora ? I bought a new set from BMS but the mounting holes on the old ones are different on the rear.

You can fit virtually any calipers to your frame. Show us a picture of the mount on the frame, and we can advise better.

The rear mounting bracket looks like this

and the whole thing looks like this

The rear mounting hole in the mounting bracket is lower than on normal ones and unfortunately I couldn't fit the old mounting bracket on the new caliper as the holes didn't line up.
Eventually I had to take the old broken caliper apart and fix it but would still like to know where to get new ones.

Calipers don't cost much. You have a standard side-mount fitting on your frame. You have a side-mount to side-mount adapter. I'm guessing that you have a 160mm disc. The BMSB calipers that I have are side-mount with standard hole spacing to fit a standard adaptor, so I'm not sure what your problem is. Perhaps a photo to show it would help.

If it were my bike, I'd get a standard 160mm rear side-mount to post-mount adaptor and fit a hydraulic rear brake from Shimano, Avid, Juicy, Tektro or similar. You should be able to get the brake and adaptor for about £40 or less.

The size of the disc should be written on it.
