I've been looking at the 8-Fun BBS01 kit that Woosh do. 8-Fun BBS01 CD kit | Chain Drive Electric Bike Kits from Woosh
This is only a pipe dream at the moment, as I've only just finished my cyclotricity kit conversion, but I'd appreciate help clearing up a point.
It refers to a 'standard' 64/68mm bottom bracket.
Is that the width of the bottom bracket from left to right (or vice versa) or some other measurement? If so, what?
Any help gratefully received.

Everything you need to know about BBs here:
Sheldon Brown's Bicycle Glossary Bo--Bz

Some bikes have non-standard ones, but I've never seen one yet. As long as you fit it to a normal bike you should be OK. Avoid ancient bikes and strange or unusual foreign ones.

My BB has 68mm shell width. The kit fits perfectly.

Thanks both,

I've bookmarked the link to Sheldon Brown's site. When I googled bottom bracket sizes, lots of information with sizes came up, but couldn't find (amongst the trees?) the 'wood' I was looking for.

While we are on about this kit....in the original instructions its says its duel voltage 24/36 but the Woosh kit says 36/48, has it changed or is it a mistake. I cant ask Hatti as she ignores my PMs

my kit has 36V 250W label on it - 8-Fun also makes a 48V 350W version.
I think the 48V costs the same but for the US market.

the motor is sealed, controller inside. Can't open it without risking warranty.

The most common size is 68mm wide frame shell and 1.37" x 24 TPI thread. Some expensive MTBs have 73mm frame shells or bigger.

People often refer to the bottom bracket as the assembly that is inserted into the bottom bracket shell. If you need to buy one of those, unless your bike is special (old, expensive or weird), the only thing you have to choose is the length of this assembly. The length you need depends on which cranks and pedals you have, so you get one the same length as your last one unless you're fitting an electric kit (not Bafang crank-drive) and there wasn't room for the pedal sensor, in which case you get one about 5 mm longer.

The kit comes with two BB nuts, on my bike (68mm shell), I have about 5mm thread after installing the two nuts. On 73mm shell, the second nut may not be fully secure.
BTW, 36V 18A printed on the motor. I tried to remove the cover by undoing 4 x 3mm allen bolts around the rim but the cover did not come off. It may need a sharp tap but more likely, there seems to be another hidden bolt from the gearbox side.

It seems this kit does not come with Throttle and brake sensors.

Not sure if this kit has the throttle and brake sensors connections.

From the front wiring hub, you have 3 connectors, one 6-pin for the LCD, the other two have 3 pins. One male, one female. I connect the 6-pin to the LCD and leave the two 3-pin unconnected. I assume the throttle socket is the male 3-pin and the brake sensor is the female 3-pin. All connectors are screw type.

Hi Trex.

Would you mind to upload the photo about the connections?

For Woosh package seems to only have one connection(LCD to Motor)

here is the wiring. On my kit, I have only one connector for the brake sensor whilst the pic shows two. I leave it unconnected because I have hydraulic brakes, only connect the LCD and battery.
