Bosch cutting off on rough terrain

Hope someone can help!
I have a Trek Rail 9.8 and all was going well for the first 12 weeks of use, now it will turn off only on a few occasions on rough terrain.
Could this be down to battery alignment?

Most likely a battery contact problem but it could be down to a bad connection or component somewhere.

I'd temporarily fully secure the battery pack with eg cable ties and see if the problem goes away.

I'd have to agree - if you've narrowed it down to only on rough terrain...its most likely a connection - and I'd suggest something in the system closer to the battery than further....

If you have a stand, while bike is on - can you duplicate with moving battery and the like...

Should still be under warranty - the better description you can provide the more likely they will duplicate and diagnosis issue.
