Hi All,
Re: Bosch Active Line Motor Casing - Creeking
Please can you assist. I have a Raleigh Captus E Bike. It has done less the 200 hundred miles, however when peddling under load, it has an annoying creeking noise from the Bosch motor housing. I don’t think it’s anything to do with the motor, just the outer plastic casing. Is their anything you can suggest to reduce or stop this please? I contacted Bosch and after 3 days, they suggested I take it to a Raleigh Stockist for them to run a diagnostic check. I contacted Raleigh and they suggested I take it to a Bosch Stockist, for them to run a diagnostic check. As I’ve already mentioned, it’s not an electronic or mechanical fault just a creeking from the casing. My only thought would be to treat with silicone spray. Anyone else had a similar problem?
Regards Gary
