BMW e-bike

I noticed that BMW are now selling an ebike. They had a BMW style stand at the NEC-for that read big and expensive!
The bike looked very clean and smart but I didn't get a chance to ask more about it. I heard someone say that the price was £3.5k.
Did anyone look at it and have a view?

It was hard to miss the stand .. but what was on it failed to get my attention.

I saw it too Dave, but didnt stop as I am brand loyal to Mercedes lol

I did wonder though about large companies like that selling e-bikes in the non e-bike section.....they should get in with the rest of you and face the real competition.........

I saw it, but didn't give it a second look. Standard Bosch bike, probably over-priced because of the badge.

I spoke to one of the BMW guys & directly asked him the price.

He said 'about £2,000'. He didn't appear to be very confident & I didn't believe him either!

Personally I didn't like it, nothing really to catch the eye.

They'll probably have Ewan & Charlie riding them from London to Brighton..... complete with a support truck full of mechanics, spares and a genny.... and of course a film crew.
Then they'll sell millions of them..... just like the 1200GS.
