I would like to share my experience with the forum of my recent purchase from BMSBattery.

Purchase:

24V15Ah Li-Ion NiCoMn "Little Frog" ABS shell ebike battery pack. inlcuded 3p7s 5Ah polymer cells, 1pcs 20A continuous discharge current smart BMS, 1Pcs 24V,3Amps Li-Ion battery aliminum alloy shell charger.

Total cost: $262.52 USD = £168.69 GBP

As stated elsewhere they are slow on delivery but they DELIVER at a cheap price.

Jack and Judy are still the main contacts, always kind and courteous with their replies. When I was over 4 weeks in I raised a dispute with PayPal as the latest delivery estimate would run over the 45 day protection period and 10 days later the battery arrived.

I had read all previous reports on their service and assume if the item is not in stock they had to be scratch built so was prepared and relaxed about the wait.

A few pictures of what I received:

Already have one! This is a direct replacement for my Brompton Sparticle - cheaper than a £300 re-cell and 50% more capacity.

My 24v10Ah BMS battery is still going well after about 100 charges.

What is the weight of the little frog battery?

Shown as 4.5kg, although when comparing it with my 24v,10aH Phylion it replaces it does not feel that much heavier.
It should not make that much difference to the handling considering my body weight sitting above it!

Link to details: little frog

Sometimes the weight quoted by these Chinese suppliers is the shipping weight and it includes the charger

I ordered a BMS and some other items from BMS. Shipping was about a week using their standard option but you are given a choice of 13 (thirteen) different carriers. If you want it faster then choose the one you want- it is entirely up to you.
If you think it's been delivered slowly remember who chose the carrier they used for you.

The carrier is not the problem.
You were lucky they had all the items in stock.
Their delivery options are vast but they can not deliver what they dont have.
They show the battery as being in stock but that does not mean it is sitting on the shelf, I think that they build it to order and at their prices I would think they are very busy.
Unlike the new trading laws bought out this year in the UK you are not allowing to list items that you dont have in stock. That is why you now see availability / stock level boxes in adverts, this does not apply in China.
I have no beef with the Company or its staff, I was just reporting the actual case details of my purchase.

Just use the cheapest one at the top of the list. The shipping time is only about 4 days, but as others have said, most of the time is to make your battery ready.

Agreed the cheapest, especially if the goods are not available immediately.
Pointless waiting a month for example but have paid for an express courier service when it finally gets shipped.

Update - After 8 years of faultless usage I have just replaced it with the latest frog battery currently on offer from Bmsbattery - 24v, 17.5Ah for £214 delivered.

Holy shemozzle, that's what is called a thread resurrection, and to another happy 8 years of usage.
