Following the bankruptcy of BionX Canada, BionX gmbh in Germany have announced that they are continuing to operate sales and service and are seeking to produce the motors there now.

Really? Things will need to have improved ALOT. There is a reason pretty much all the brands dropped them as an OEM component, and moved to more reliable motors.BionX will likely do well in Europe.

There was a time years ago when it was excellent and members imported them direct, but somehow they lost their way when they introduced all the different versions from 250 watts to 500 watts. The software then caused all sorts of problems and the Canbus battery system didn't help.
