Very useful, but as he acknowledges, it is not height that matters but inside leg.
I know a couple where the 6 foot 3" man has the same leg measurement as his 5 foot 6" wife.

Hmmmm... these charts don't work for me. I'm 5'9" with a 34" inside leg. Based on my leg length the charts suggest I need a 22" frame or thereabouts. I had a 21" many years ago but it was too uncomfortable to ride and gave me back problems after every ride. I find a 17" frame perfect but with a longer seatpost and raised handlebars!

In my case, I have to request very specific measurements if buying unseen but ideally prefer to try them for size.
