Jeez, you're hard work. You gave us the dimensions in your photo above. You need to confirm the question marks.

sorry if you find me awkward, But I gave you the measurements, of the battery holder in this picture below. but you say i need to confirm the question marks thats where I am confused

But have now removed the batteries and taken more snapshots hope this is what you require

This is the top of battery case

I see this battery pack comes with a charger anyway so thats all good isnt it.
so is this what we going for then as it says 171.57 GBP $225 am i correct

also didnt know where you got measurements of The maximum pack size is 320 mm x 100 mm or you just quoting what battery packs size are

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Electric-Bicycle-Battery-24v-16Ah-350W-Lithium-ion-Battery-Pack-24v-for-eBike-24v-with-15A/32679517104.html?spm=2114.30010308.3.379.M8cD9s&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_0,searchweb201602_3_10057_10056_10065_10037_10055_10054_10069_301_10059_10033_10058_10032_10017_10071_10070_10060_10061_10052_10062_10053_10050_10051,searchweb201603_2&btsid=f5cfdbb4-b453-47c5-bd4f-fe3b13752bd0

The reason why I have been questioning things is because Im not using the bike every day. probably 3 times a week, depends on weather. and just short distances, but if I decide to go for a day out on long trip. then yes need better batteries so thats why I didn't want to spend over the top. I would really love to have lithium batteries yes of course, plus be able to ride further on these batteries, as i am using bike more in this hot weather

I suppose when you get older like myself, it takes longer to grasp things. but with help from you guys I can. just not good on technical stuff like batteries lol

I just like to say I am extremely grateful for all the help you guys have given me. sorry to be annoying and hard work lol

hope we can now sort this

There's two pillars half way down your battery box. They restrict the width of a long pack, so we need the distance of the gap between them. We also need the depth of the box.

sorry about that i should have measured more better anyway here is the width between those 2 pillars

here is the depth of box

Plus also the lid of battery box is at least another 30mm so in all its depth is approx 115mm or is that wrong

The plastic fillet reduces the space inside the box.
You appear to have two spaces 150*110*100as near as.
Cutting the fillet out makes it 300*100*100 ish
I hope you remember where the black and red wires connect to the output/rest of bike.

Hi yes of course I will remove that middle piece of plastic as knew that anyway. But obviously have not done so yet as still using old batteries. But once new lithium one arrives in will.

Actually the measurements are 320*80*115

as the width can only be 80mm as of those pillars, which cant be removed as thats where screws go for battery cover

yes thats correct 320*80*115

but on that battery you quoted it says

so the width is too wide then as my width is only 80mm this says 95mm

I can see it says L,W,T which L=length W= width but whats that T means surely it should be D for depth

I have uploaded some images of how my lead acid batteries are wired up so hopefully this lithium one can be wired ok

I also take it that this lithium battery comes with a charger, I think it looks like a charger in picture. and hope the charge point will fit my case

at least its free shipping so thats good

I dont understand what this is all about too where would that connect

220 x 90 x 70 is the same as 220 x 70 x90!

Whatever battery you get, you'll have to solder some wires. You can either cut off whatever connector is on the cell-pack and join the wires or get hold of the matching connector and solder it to the wires in your case. The small red one is a Deans connecor that you can get from Ebay for next to nothing.

ok so that battery you posted link to will fit then ok, as i just assumed. when it says L W T meant length width and dept as just thought 220 length is ok same as depth 70 but didnt know 220*95*70 is same as L 220mm W 95mm and T 70mm can be as 220*70*95

so its ok to order that one then. yes/no then i can get ordering it

yes i know i will have to solder a few wires etc, it dont show what connector for charging port, so i can see if it fits my box

Its ok now as I have placed the order for the battery. it should arrive in 7 days time. I believe 2 wires go to the battery holder pins to connect to pins on battery holder. I believe they are the discharge wires. and other 2 are for the charging plug where the battery charger plug goes. but Im sure you will let me know when it arrives if i am correct. I will post back when battery arrives

Just need now to sell my old 2 x12V lead acid batteries, as not had them very long bought on 5.8.16 so only 1 month old cost me 75 GBP $99.79 any ideas how much to sell them for
