Anyone know of a very lightweight cover to fit an electric bike (battery behind seatpost). It is a Volt Pulse.
I will be fixing it t the cycle carrier that fits on a towball. I want the cover to keep the wet off when traveling. I have a large tarpaulin, but it is too unwieldy and my current cover is too short.
Thanks
Julie

You could look at a small motorbike cover. It might do. You could ask at your local motorbike shop if they havbe one and see the size.

If it's going on a normal car, you need to be mindful of the wind resistance, which would be huge if you covered the bike. Not so bad behind a van or motorhome.

Plenty of wind resistance with a large white slab of motorhome! It should be OK as it will be tucked in low behind.

I cant remember where I got mine from Julie, but it was just a cheapo bog standard cover.

It doesnt really have to cover all of the tyres for example.

I just hold it tight with a couple of bungees that also hold my warning triangle on.
And as you say, behind a motorhome I find my bike just snuggles down and enjoys the ride :D

Hi Lynda,
I will look out for a woman with a nicely knitted jumper riding around her motorhome on a speedy bike whilst reading the forum on her smartphone and being chased by a lttle dog!

most of the dirt comes from underneath the vehicle, so needs to be a good fit if that's what your worried about. I just use a cheap Fiamma one with see through panel for the hazard sign on back (obligatory in some countries) protests against heavy rain etc... and just hose the bikes down when dirty
